Dear all,
Firstly let me introduce myself, as I may not have had the pleasure of meeting you all yet. My name is Stuart and I have recently joined the Aerobility team with a view to helping manage Aerobility's 'One Rivet At A Time' project from start through to completion. This is a project which I expect to throw up many challenges, but be equally rewarding for us all and it's something I am thoroughly looking forward to too.
The project is already off to a great start as we now have 17 people having attended the training courses and we have more courses available to run. The aircraft kit has now arrived and we are hoping to have it unpacked and the inventory completed, ready to start the build, around the middle of March.
In the run up to the start of the build, there is still some work to be completed, which mostly involves finalising the workshop environment, further training courses and some further project planning.
In order to manage the build properly we will need to organise the time slots that are available for people to work on the plane and ensure that we maintain a suitable number of trained persons working within any time slot. Those who have already completed their training should have received an email with a spreadsheet attached to populate with their availability. If you haven't had any training yet but are interested in joining the project please let mikeowen@aerobility.com know and we will book you on the next training session!
In the meantime, if you have any time to spare and would like to help out with the finalisation of the workshop area, please contact Mike Owen mikeowen@aerobility.com
Kind regards,
Stuart Rowbottom
