Blackbushe Air Day - In support of Aerobility

On Saturday 30th July, Blackbushe Airport opened it's gates to both the public and fly-ins for the first Blackbushe Air Day.

We couldn't have predicted such an amazing turn out - which may have left us short of a bus or two!

A wonderful mix of pilots, av geeks, families and local business joined us to support both Blackbushe Airport and Aerobility.

We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback received and hope to bring on a bigger and better event next year - it is the Airports 75th Birthday after all!

So the question on everybody's minds - how much did we raise?!

Drum roll please...

£15,000!

What an incredible result for a first year event.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in planning, delivering and fundraising for Blackbushe Air Day, including The Big Pull teams and each of our amazing volunteers - without you the air day would not have been possible.

We will share more of our favourite air day images with you soon, but here's a few to wet your appetite.
