Whose Plane Goes Furthest?!

Throughout March, we have been running Aviation Experience sessions each Saturday morning for children and young people with disabilities. Although we're only half way through, we think it is safe to say that the sessions have been an amazing success!

With help from the British Model Flying Association, we have incorporated model making into our sessions and it's been a real hit. With a "Whose Plane Goes Furthest?" competition at the end of each session, a huge amount of concentration and effort goes into making each model as aerodynamic as possible (from the Aerobility team as well as the youngsters!)

We hope that these sessions will introduce the children and young people who take part to the magic of aviation, and from the smiles on faces at the end of the day we think we might just have achieved that.
